Shows all six new control panels in position. (Note bank of 4 plus bank of 2). All new metal work- (Doors and back panels). Design of metal work, painting of metal work, circuit design, panel manufacture, installation. Part of a United Utilities Water Authorities £7 million update. Contract for Mono-Pumps. (Metalwork manufactured by R&M Engineering).

We have worked with Mono-Pumps (NOV) Ltd completing well over 200 successful contracts for the projects department involving many new control system designs and full electrical installations.

Completed designs and manufactured control systems are currently installed at various water board sites throughout the UK and also in several of HM prisons in the East Midlands region and Glasgow.

CPI Pneumatics Ltd. A subsidiary of Process control & Automation Ltd, we provide PAT testing for the office I.T. equipment and warehouse hand tools.

Process control & Automation Ltd, we help design and manufacture Allen Bradley PLC based control systems for “GL Filtration Ltd” liquid separation equipment used in the pharmaceutical industry. The systems include intrinsically safe electrical relays; transducer devices for pressure & temperature, data logging equipment and “PILZ” safety relays and occasionally using “Castell” trapped key interlocking switch devices.

Keljay waste paper-baling machine: Circuit design, PLC program, panel built & final commissioning on site by Cadman.

Keljay Ltd, we developed the PLC programs and manufactured the electrical system for a range of glass crushing machines and aluminum can crushing/ baling machines. All the control systems were designed and programmed around Mitsubishi FX1 series PLC’s as stipulated by Keljay Ltd using “GX Developer 8” software for the Mitsubishi FX1 series PLC programs and AutoCAD software.

Mindon Engineering Ltd design and manufacture turnkey industrial paint stoving plant.
(A subsidiary of Burntwood Spray Booths Ltd).

The last major Mindon contract was designed from the exacting Toyota Derby specification and installed at Toyota’s Derby plastics plant. Again this design used a customer specified Mitsubishi PLC. We did not build the control panel on this occasion but all the necessary diagrams, PLC programming, bill of parts and customer instruction booklets were. This plant was commissioned inspected, tested and electrically certified by Cadman Electrical working along side the representatives from DURR Ltd and Toyota Motors.

Burntwood Spray Booths Ltd design and manufacture automotive combined paint spray booths and curing ovens. The last Aston Martin spray booth installation job was to find a solution to a problem with the fitted temperature controller. Having only two programmable set points, the design specification called for three. We were able to create a solution by using the DC temperature set point reference input of the instrument and several relays to allow any multiple of set points to be externally set from push buttons already fitted as part of the original circuit design. All this was done from an enquiry phone call at 3pm to completion at Aston Martin’ works at Coventry the following afternoon in just 12 hours.

Forest Industries (Hydraulic Engineers) Ltd: are specialists in repair and maintenance of hydraulic machinery and also offer project engineering and development consultancy services. We have worked on various projects involving redevelopment of the automated Vaillant, (Glow-Worm), boiler production testing facilities. Based on a Siemens S5 PLC’s, this production facility was creating a bottleneck in the line due to unreliable operation due to subtle errors in the PLC programming. Although based on the original program, this project required much study and then a substantial proportion written anew. Since then the test facility has run faultlessly.

This is MICON Concrete Ltd’ plant renewal/ installation project. Every piece of machinery required for concrete production has been or will be replaced. We have designed and installed the electrical power distribution system, motor control centre, batch weighing instrumentation and water metering systems from concept to completion. Although the plant is now fully working it could use a lick of paint perhaps!

Living Heritage Event Hire Services Ltd requires a very specific service since they are governed by BS7909: 2008 regulations impressed upon the entertainment and show industries. We have worked in an advisory capacity on the planning and updating of the original distribution equipment to the latest BS7909: 2008 and BS7671: 2008 legislation. We have recently completed a portable “Country Kitchen” installation to provide televised cookery demonstrations by locally famous chefs at craft shows around the country. Everything needed by the chef is provided including the 17Kwatt AGA cooker & behind the scenes fridges, hot water, sinks & preparation cooker. We used special colour balanced flood units for the stage lighting to avoid colour cast problems on the camera pictures. Fully working the load is 60Kwatt!

Fresenius Medical Care Ltd. We have recently completed the 5 yearly periodic inspection and test report work, repairs & maintenance for a very large secure warehouse and offices.
